🌿 IASIS MCN is a non-invasive, drug-free wellness modality developed and refined over more than a decade by IASIS Technologies. During a session, a soft, imperceptible micro current signal is delivered through five lightweight electrodes — so gentle most clients don't feel a thing.
This brief signal is designed to support your nervous system's own natural ability to self-regulate, helping your brain shift out of stuck patterns and move toward greater calm, clarity, and balance.

🌿 What Some Clients Notice After a Session
Most clients experience little to no negative effects. IASIS MCN uses an imperceptible level of microcurrent — equivalent to a trillionth of a watt — making it extremely well tolerated across all ages.
On occasion, some clients report:
- Mild Fatigue — A light sense of tiredness after a session. This typically passes quickly. Staying hydrated and allowing time to rest afterward is encouraged.
- Mild Headache — Rarely, some clients notice a brief, mild headache following a session. Hydration and relaxation usually resolve this quickly.
Side effects are uncommon and typically short-lived. If you have any concerns, please discuss them with your practitioner.
🌿 How Long Do Results Last?
A common question we hear is: "Will I need to keep coming back forever?" The short answer is — most clients don't. Many clients report that positive changes feel lasting after completing a recommended series of sessions. Because IASIS MCN supports neuroplasticity — the brain's natural ability to form new patterns and connections — the shifts clients experience tend to build over time and carry forward into daily life.
That said, individual experiences vary. Some clients return for periodic "tune-up" sessions during high-stress periods, while others find that a single course of sessions is all they need. Your practitioner will work with you to find the rhythm that supports your wellness goals.

🌿 What to Expect
Initial Visit (60 - 90 minutes) will consist of:
• Welcome / Introduction / Comprehensive Intake Form review
• Goal Setting / Wellness Plans / Scheduling
• Brain Gauge Testing
• First IASIS Micro Current Neurofeedback Session / Infra Red Light
Follow Up Sessions (30 - 40 minutes each)
While seated, five lightweight EEG electrodes will be placed at different areas on your head and neck. The areas will be cleaned and prepped for a conductive paste that will hold the electrodes in place. The position of the electrodes may vary through the session and in subsequent Micro Current Neurofeedback sessions.
Many clients also choose to enhance their session with Red Light Therapy, which can be offered during your Micro Current Neurofeedback. Red light therapy uses low-level wavelengths of light to support cellular energy, reduce inflammation, and promote overall relaxation — making it a natural complement to your neurofeedback session.
**If you are running more than 10 minutes late, we will happily reschedule you to maintain the quality of the visit.
🌿 Brain Gauge Test
At the beginning of your very first session — and again at the end of your wellness session series — you'll complete a quick Brain Gauge assessment. This allows us to compare your results side by side and gives you a clear, tangible picture of your progress over time.
During each test, those two orange tips will ‘buzz’ your fingers in a specific pattern. The Brain Gauge app will ask questions about what you felt, and then analyze your responses using neuroscience principles.
The assessment looks at eight aspects of sensory processing and cognitive functioning:
- Speed,
- Focus
- Fatigue
- Accuracy
- Sequencing
- Timing Perception
- Plasticity
- Connectivity.
You'll receive an overall “cortical metric” score that reflects your mental fitness score. Many clients enjoy tracking their scores over time and noticing how factors such as sleep, stress, nutrition and general wellness relate to their results. Brain Gauge is a wellness-oriented tool and is not intended to diagnose or treat any medical condition.

After years of living and working in the Hill Country, I felt a deep calling to do something more — to serve my neighbors in a meaningful way. In July 2023, I opened New Braunfels NeuroGenesis with one simple goal: to offer real hope to people who feel like they've tried everything.
